From personal need to collective answer
SamaKeur was born from a simple observation: in property management across French-speaking Africa, traceability and transparency are still the exception. We make them the norm.
1 The founder
A graduate of a French engineering school, I have been practicing computer science engineering for several years. I have worked on a wide range of software systems, with one constant: a commitment to rigor, to the traceability of decisions, and to the quality of execution.
SamaKeur was not born in a pitch deck. It was born from a real, lived need: tracking rents, documenting payments, clarifying exchanges between owners, tenants and collectors. I looked for a tool that understood the African reality — the importance of cash, the coexistence of Orange Money and Wave, the need for WhatsApp-shareable receipts, the requirement to operate offline. I did not find anything satisfying. So I built the tool, first for myself. Very quickly, other owners, then agencies, asked to use it too.
SamaKeur is the answer to a general need, built by someone who lives the problem from the inside.
2 Our mission
Give every owner, manager and agency in French-speaking Africa a tool that turns property management into a fluid, traceable and transparent process.
Concretely, this means: no more ambiguity over a received payment, no more unpaid rent slipping through the cracks, no more owner left without visibility over their asset. A native iOS and macOS tool, designed for the field, that works offline, supports 9 African currencies and 3 languages, and respects the reality of local ecosystems.
3 Our values
Clarity. Every payment is documented, every action is logged, every owner sees what belongs to them. We hide nothing from the user, and the user hides nothing from the person they are accountable to.
Pragmatism. Our features are built for the real use cases of the African field, not to tick marketing boxes. The paper notebook, the spreadsheet and WhatsApp have been our competitive benchmarks: if we do not do better than those three on your daily work, we fail.
Data sovereignty. Your data belongs to you. We host it securely, encrypted in transit and at rest, with strict per-user isolation (Row-Level Security). We never resell it.
